OUR STORY
We have always been drawn to clothes that feel like they have lived a life - pieces with texture, history, and purpose.
Deep Roots started from that feeling. Not just an interest in clothing, but a curiosity about where it comes from, who made it, and how it is meant to be worn. A lot of what inspires us comes from East- and South East Asia. From the villages in northern Vietnam, where hemp is still woven by hand and dyed with natural indigo. And from China’s workwear traditions - clothing made for real use, built to handle weather, time, and hard work. That kind of honesty in clothing stuck with us.
We try to carry that forward in what we make. Our pieces are produced in small batches, working with skilled makers. Nothing rushed. We focus on getting the details right - fabrics that feel good, construction that holds up, and designs that do not need to shout to stand out.
We mostly use natural materials because they age well and feel better over time. When needed, we add modern elements to improve warmth or durability - but never at the cost of character. For us, it is about balance. Old and new. Function and feeling. Something you can wear every day and keep for years.
