REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

This policy applies to consumers purchasing from Deep Roots Studio via deeproots.dk.

01. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU/EEA CONSUMERS)

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier) receive the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by email at info@deeproots.dk with a clear statement of your decision.

You may use the standard withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

02. EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL

If you withdraw from this contract:

  • You will receive a refund of all payments received, including standard delivery costs (excluding any extra costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery)
  • Refunds are processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days
  • We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return
  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed
03. RETURN OF GOODS

You must return the goods:

  • Without undue delay and no later than 14 days from notifying us

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

04. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS

You may handle and inspect the goods as you would in a physical store.

You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish:

  • the nature
  • the characteristics
  • the functioning of the goods
05. ADDITIONAL RETURN POLICY (30 DAYS)

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 30-day voluntary return policy.

Conditions:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition
  • All tags must be attached
  • Original packaging must be included

Refunds under this voluntary policy:

  • Do not include original shipping costs
  • May be refused if conditions are not met

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

06. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Sealed goods not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons if unsealed
  • Perishable goods
07. FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at info@deeproots.dk as soon as possible.

Under Danish law, you have a 24-month right to complain (reklamationsret).

If your complaint is valid, we will:

  • Repair, replace, or refund the item
  • Reimburse reasonable return shipping costs
08. EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To exchange an item, please return it and place a new order.

09. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (OUTSIDE EU/EEA)

For customers outside the EU/EEA:

  • Local consumer laws may grant you additional rights
  • Where mandatory local laws apply, those rights will take precedence

Unless otherwise required by law:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Customs duties and import fees are non-refundable
